Online Trauma Therapy for Adults in New Hampshire

You understand yourself pretty well. You know where your patterns came from, you can recognize your triggers, and you've probably done a lot of work on yourself already. But knowing why you feel this way hasn't necessarily changed what happens when you're triggered.

Therapy with Neisha helps you move beyond insight to understand and shift the patterns that keep you feeling stuck—so you can trust yourself, feel more grounded, and experience your relationships differently.

WHEN THE PAST KEEPS SHOWING UP

You learned how to survive. Now you're ready to learn how to live differently.

Maybe you're the person everyone comes to when something goes wrong. You're independent, capable, and used to figuring things out on your own.

But relationships can feel complicated.

You want closeness, yet depending on someone feels uncomfortable. You feel responsible for other people's emotions. You say yes when you want to say no. You replay conversations wondering whether you did something wrong. You can recognize yourself people-pleasing or trying to control an outcome—and still struggle to stop doing it.

These patterns often have roots in developmental and relational trauma: early experiences and relationships that taught you what you needed to do to feel connected, accepted, or safe.

They made sense then. They just may not fit the life you want anymore.

When self-awareness hasn't been enough to create change

Maybe you already understand your patterns but can’t seem to change them. Or maybe you’re just beginning to wonder why anxiety, relationships, or experiences from your past affect you the way they do.

You don’t need to come to therapy with all the answers. We’ll get curious together, make sense of what’s keeping you stuck, and help you develop new ways of responding to yourself, your emotions, and the people in your life.

Imagine feeling like you don't have to manage everything anymore.

Therapy isn't about turning you into a different person. It's about helping you understand what you've been carrying, process what still needs healing, and develop new ways of responding when old patterns show up.

You Might Recognize Yourself Here:

  • you think about everyone else first

  • you know you’re patterns, but you still repeat them

  • you’re exhausted from holding everything together

  • boundaries become guilt

  • relationships feel harder than they should

  • anxiety keeps you one step ahead

Our Work May Help You:

  • trust yourself

  • set boundaries without abandoning yourself

  • feel your emotions without being consumed by them

  • let other people show up for you

  • experience healthier relationships

  • make choices based on what you want

Trauma doesn't always look like one big event.

Developmental and relational trauma can develop through relationships where the people you depended on were emotionally unavailable, inconsistent, unpredictable, or unable to meet your needs in the ways you needed.

You may have learned to keep the peace, anticipate other people's emotions, stay in control, become fiercely independent, or put your own needs aside to maintain connection or feel safe.

Those patterns made sense then. Together, we can explore whether they're still serving you now.

How I Work

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps the brain process experiences that continue to feel emotionally charged or show up through triggers, beliefs, emotions, and reactions in the present.

Rather than simply talking through an experience again and again, EMDR can help change the way it is stored so the past has less influence over how you feel and respond today.

Parts Work

We all have different parts of ourselves that can show up in different situations—the part that wants to keep everyone happy, the part that needs to stay in control, or the part that wants to shut down and avoid it all. Parts work helps us get curious about these responses, understand what they're trying to protect, and develop a more compassionate relationship with ourselves.

Attachment-based therapy helps you understand these patterns without blaming yourself or your family. Together, we'll explore what you've learned about connection and begin practicing healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

The relationships we grow up with can shape what we come to expect from relationships later in life—including whether it feels safe to trust, depend on someone, express a need, disagree, or let someone get close.

Somatic therapy brings attention to what's happening in the body and nervous system, helping you become more aware of these responses and develop a greater capacity to feel grounded and present.

Sometimes your body reacts before you've had time to think. You might notice tension, shutting down, feeling on edge, becoming overwhelmed, or having a strong physical reaction during conflict even when part of you knows you're okay.

Christian Faith Integration

If your Christian faith is an important part of your life, we can integrate it into our work in a way that feels meaningful and authentic to you.

Together, we can explore how your faith, values, relationships, and healing intersect while making space for questions, uncertainty, and your individual experience.

Trauma-Informed & Relational Therapy

Your experiences, preferences, boundaries, and goals matter throughout the process. I bring curiosity, honesty, humor, and clinical expertise, while recognizing that you are the expert on your own life.

We’ll work together to understand your patterns, and I will also challenge you when needed, because meaningful change requires more than insight. It requires practicing something different.

My own healing journey has shaped not only why I became passionate about this work, but how I show up with the people who trust me with theirs.

I know what it's like to untangle old survival patterns, recognize how the past has shaped the present, and realize that understanding yourself is only part of the process. Eventually, you have to begin doing something different.

That's why I don't see myself as the person with all the answers. I'll walk alongside you with curiosity, honesty, humor, and compassion. I'll celebrate the progress, sit with you in the uncomfortable parts, and challenge you when an old pattern is keeping you from the life you're trying to build.

MORE TIME WHEN YOU NEED IT

Sometimes 45 minutes just isn't enough.

There are times when you may want more space to slow down, go deeper, and work through something without feeling like you're watching the clock. Extended therapy sessions offer additional time for more focused work, particularly when processing difficult experiences or doing deeper trauma work.

Depending on your needs and goals, I offer extended sessions so you can have the time and space the work requires.
